  • Using equipment and designs that will not be hampered by a single, core, backbone point of failure
  • Allowing client administrators to control network access, transmission speeds and other options
  • Giving you a choice of flat rate or usage-based billing.

IP VPN

As we help our clients grow, so too do their demands for greater bandwidth and network performance. Companies must be able to efficiently and cost-effectively communicate with geographically disbursed employees, remote workers, business partners, and suppliers. Multiprotocol Label Switching Virtual Private Networks (MPLS VPNs) distribute the attributes of a private data network within a shared network infrastructure. They offer enterprise-class scalability and reach across multiple Internet protocol (IP)-based infrastructures, along with many of the performance and security characteristics conventionally found only in dedicated private environments.

Epifany’s network designs integrate IP VPN technologies, Wi-Fi, Voice over IP, video, and data capabilities into a single solution that can be hosted on-site or remotely, allowing clients to have as much or as little control as they would like over the management of their network.

Metro Ethernet Service

Metro Ethernet Service has considerably changed the value to performance ratio for inter-connecting LANS in metro areas. Leveraging fiber optic speed and consistency, Metro Ethernet Service is extending the scalability, flexibility and ubiquity of Ethernet protocol to provide more powerful LAN connectivity in response to accelerating data needs and shrinking IT budgets. Connecting multiple LANS over a fiber optic metro area networks, Metro Ethernet Service is the next advancement of Native Mode LAN Interconnection (NMLI) Service. It provides flawless inter-networking and the ability to mix speeds by location and application to support high-speed data, Voice over IP and video applications. Metro Ethernet is available in both point-to-point and switched solutions from 10 megabits per second to one gigabit per second bandwidths.

Long Distance Service

Long distance service is a fundamental component of any business and a key building block in your virtual enterprise solution. Epifany offers domestic and international Toll-Free & Outbound Long Distance services from industry leaders like AT&T and Qwest that provide high-quality long-distance service as part of a complete suite of communication tools available to meet your needs. Extend the reach of your virtual enterprise by connecting customers and employees with Long Distance service. Our preferred vendors deliver high-quality long-distance service over their fiber optic networks. Both switched and dedicated access is available for connectivity to the carrier networks and public switched telephone network. Outbound Long Distance service provides local access to the preferred vendors via a local loop circuit using carrier owned and operated facilities/third-party provider facilities or via facilities customer arranges on its own (customer-provided access). Actual bandwidth and speed of circuits can vary from 56/64 K or 1.544 Mbps up to one Gbps, depending upon your needs.

VoIP

Integrated Access Service is an IP-based solution that integrates local and long-distance voice with Internet access on a single connection. It uses Voice over IP (VoIP) technology to give customers the advantage of using the entire circuit for Internet access when phones are not in use. Voice traffic has priority over data – when phones are in use, the bandwidth is automatically allocated from data to voice.

VoIP users save on their telecommunications costs by avoiding the tolls and fees typically assessed when making standard calls over the public switched telephone network (PSTN). Billing is more convenient too, since “on-net” calls aren’t charged individually. VoIP calling is, instead, a capability included as part of your regular, monthly, payment plan. Thus, Epifany helps our SMB clients to avoid any “surprises” arising from their monthly telecom bills.

Integrated Access is geared towards customers that would like to either retain their existing telephony private branch exchange (PBX) infrastructure, key system and handsets, or are looking to upgrade to a new premises-based PBX or key system. Integrated Access is terminated at the premises using an integrated access device (IAD). The IAD acts as an aggregation point, sending voice traffic to the existing key system telephony infrastructure and data traffic to an existing local area network (LAN) or to the Internet. In addition, Integrated Access can now support analog phones connected to the 66-Block in an IA FXS configuration.
