Epifany Announces Support Portal Updates


Dallas, TX -- June 30, 2008 -- Epifany has released a new version of the support portal for network and managed services that will allow existing customers to have more control of their Epifany managed services. These additional enhancements made to the support portal places even more control in the hands of its users, allowing them greater visibility and flexibility in managing their IT assets.

  • Multi-Browser Support – In addition to existing support for IE 6.0 or later, Epifany has added support for Firefox and Safari.
  • Dashboard Views – Users now have a dashboard home page for a quick summary view.
  • Asset Views – Users now see what assets are being managed by Epifany from the Asset home page.
  • Roles – Now company administrators can see all assets within their organization, as well all tickets. Administrators can comment cases for their users as well.
  • Self Help - Administrators can now re-assign assets to users within their organization from the portal. If a new employee arrives, and assets exist in the portal, administrators simply only have to re-assign the assets to the new user in order for the new employee to receive support from Epifany.
  • Asset Names / Descriptions - AUsers can now give their assets their own names and descriptions to make it easier to identify assets.
